Really good transmission though and better gears for the street than the 700R4/4L60(E) is. The 4L60 basically is a renamed 700R4 and the 4L60E is the electronic version of it. Long since gone, but I've heard of one made by Gear Vendors. Problem with a C-3 is the driveshaft is so short there just is not much room lengthwise, and the tunnel is pretty small aft of the trans.
